All the jewelry on the website is made by one person, with occasional help from friends in the area. I am based in Fairfax County and live in Alexandria, Virginia. I do not currently have a store front but am hoping to start selling jewelry through local stores in Falls Church, Washington, DC, and Fairfax in the near future.

About Retold Story and Art by Alison Strub
Retold Story focuses on environment-friendly decor, jewelry, and art. While completing my undergraduate degree, I became increasingly interested and inspired by folk art and intricate pieces of jewelry and decor that used sustainable and recycled materials. Tramp art particularly inspired me to look at every day objects with throw away in a new light. I began initially making only handmade jewelry, but have expanded to items for the home. My goal is to eventually branch out into making furniture and large pieces of art from recycled materials.
