How fast will my item ship?
All items are shipped no later than 1 weeks after order date. I use regular USPS mail. If you'd like the item to ship faster, please email me directly and don't rely on PayPal to deliver the message. I will bill separately for expedited shipping (FedEx, etc.).
What if there is a defect or imperfection in the product?
Every item is handmade and inspected before shipping for assurance. I try to take accurate pictures of all the products. Given the handmade nature of all the products, most items have what can be described as "character." They are not mass-produced and therefore do not have a templated feel, so there are variances in what you'd expect a machine to make. Consequently, I do not provide refunds due to character imperfections.
However, if the item arrives broken due to a manufacturing flaw (jump ring break, dysfunctional clasp, etc.), a notice of the defect and a replacement request must be made within 5 business days of receiving the shipment. Please include your name, the Item Number, and description of the defective in the merchandise. When mailing back the product, please include its original packaging materials. Shipping and handlng charges to send the replacement item back to you will be covered by Retold Story if the original item is received within 5 days after the request. After 5 days the buyer pays for shipping costs. After 10 days no items will be returnable.

By far the Newspaper Bracelets, followed by the Fortune Cookie Pendants.
Do the pendants come with a chain?
The pendants do not come with chains and are displayed on them for the purposes of the photos. I usually recommend buying them from Michael's or a local craft store. Often, the soldered pendants look good on a simple ball chain, as well.
I want to make recycled handmade jewelry like this, where can I learn how to?
There are some awesome online sites that can help you! I recommend Craftster.org, Cut Out + Keep, and Instructables.
